Description
Weather protection is provided by lightweight but durable recycled Pertex Shield® fabric with a PFC-free DWR treatment. With 2.5 layers, it is softer and more supple than a traditional three-layer shell, making it extremely comfortable to wear, as well as lightweight and compact for a streamlined carry.
With an elasticated waistband, a regular fit and full-length side zips, the new pant is easily pulled on over walking boots when the weather turns. Integrated knee articulation provides unrestricted movement for high stepping on steeper or more technical terrain and an internal top popper brings instant ventilation whenever the conditions change. Whether you’re trekking in the mountains or hiking in the peaks, it’s well worth a place in your backpack.

Pertex® Shield delivers lightweight and packable protection whilst remaining highly breathable. Designed for intense mountain pursuits where weight and breathability are key, Pertex® Shield fabrics allow you to move fast and stay comfortable. The versatile 2, 2.5 and 3-layer constructions combine lightweight face fabrics with waterproof, windproof and breathable membranes. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish applied to the face fabric sheds rain and snow, which helps to maintain breathability.
